The CONVERSE Project

Global Design Mentorship Programme

Faith was selected as one of 15 designers to participate in a nine-month global design mentorship programme with Converse as the lead brand. The programme focused on advanced design development, global trend research, and industry-facing execution, supported by immersive travel and direct engagement with international manufacturers and creative teams.

The programme involved close collaboration with the Nike trend forecasting team and extensive global research across four key fashion and manufacturing hubs. Faith conducted sourcing and materials research at Première Vision in Paris, undertook trend and silhouette studies in Milan, and engaged with manufacturing partners in China and Hong Kong. From an initial body of over 150 design concepts, she refined her work to three core designs for the final showcase. Assigned to Milan as her primary city focus, Faith developed chic, forward-looking garments tailored to a Gen Z consumer, balancing European design sensibility with commercial viability. The final collection was produced and photographed in Los Angeles, culminating in a professionally staged showcase.
